We are currently seeking a highly motivated self-starter as Full-time Printer Operator to join our printing team. This position will report directly to the Cell Leader.

• Maintain effective communications with other production team members
• Participate in behavioral-based safety programs
• Operating large format printers such as Vutek, Mimaki, Reggiani up to 3.5 meters wide
• Fluency in operating rip stations (Onyx, Caldera, Ergosoft etc.)
• Preparing and submitting proofs for approval to Supervisor
• Ensure layout and imposition of files is correct
• Maintain color matching to client standards
• Perform color calibration and color adjustments
• Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned

• Three or more years of experience operating a digital printer
• Knowledge of various printing processes is an asset
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and work with tight deadlines
• Demonstrated safety focus, with an ability to understand and follow all safety and operational procedures and policies
• Team player who also has the ability to work individually, managing multiple demands and competing priorities
• Proactive problem-solver, but exercises quick and decisive action when issues arise
• You collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
